IBPS PO Prelims 23rd Oct,2016 - 3rd Slot

Now its time for exam analysis of IBPS PO Prelims (23rd October 2016) Slot III. A lot of students have appeared for their preliminary exam today and it will continue till 27th October, 2016.


There were 3 sections in the exam, English, Reasoning and Quantitative, you all know it. The paper was Easy - Moderate. If you practise well you can easily score 51-55.


English paper:

This paper was moderate than other sections. There were no Fill in the blanks in this section and also no question of antonym and synonym were asked in the Reading Comprehension.
The RC was moderate to difficult.

Reading Comprehension: 8 Moderate - Difficult
Para jumbled: 5-6  Easy - Moderate
Cloze test: 7 Easy-Moderate
Error spotting: 10 Moderate-Difficult


Reasoning paper:

This paper was not tough. If you can choose questions , you can easily score 20+. 

Inequalities were very easy. There was no Coding-decoding. If you can do Syllogisms, Blood relations and Directions,you will surely secure good marks. I recommend you not to touch Puzzle and Sitting Arrangements. Because these are time consuming. But one Circular sitting arrangement was quite easy.

Quant paper:

The level of this paper was easy to moderate. The questions from Series, Quadratic equations, Approximation and DI were easy. If you do those, you need not to be worried then. In the DI, there were two types, line graph and table. Table DI was quite easy.

Now if you can do 15-17 in English, 17-19 in Quant and 17 - 20 in Reasoning with 90% accuracy then your sectional and overall cut off will be cleared.
