Msconfig for startup apps

Startup apps always slow down the Windows system because those apps consume RAM at the time of booting. Msconfig is one of the best option to get rid of this issue.

Msconfig is a System Configuration Utility of Microsoft Windows. It is used to configure the programs, boot options and the services load at the time of Windows starts.

To open it in Windows first type "run" in the given search bar and hit ENTER.

Then type msconfig inside the "run".

Now you will see 4 tabs in this interface (as shown in the above pic). Now go to "Startup" tab and deselect those apps which you don't want see run at the time of Windows loading (e.g. uTorrent, Connectify, Bittorrent, Bluestacks, Adobe apps etc). Don't deselect the apps which are from Intel and Microsoft and your system drivers (e.g. Bluetooth drivers, WLAN drivers etc).

To increase the no of processors, go to "Boot" tab. Select "Advanced option". You will find "No of processor" tab at the top left corner. Scroll down and select the max no.

Then APPLY and OK. System restart may be required. Your all startup apps will be disabled.
